This was Killion's first "serious" lino-cut print. The block was carved in 1970, and several small editions were printed during 1973-75. The block was lost, but Killion's one remaining copy, damaged by waterstains, was digitally restored to produce this slightly enlarged giclée edition: first edition of 75 plus 8 artist's proofs printed in 2013-14; ed. II of 55 plus several a.p.s printed 2017; State III was reworked and printed in edition of 85 in 2019; ed. IV of 95 now available.
